La Gare - Amstelveen

Service is painfully slow. We ordered a pot of tea and cheese tosti. Then we waited for 40+ minutes and they haven’t even started. They have way too many tables than they can serve. (And they brought two little packs of tea that’s barely enough for two cups with the big pot which was obviously incompatible.

A bit frustrating having to pay 10 euros for a sandwich which was basically just lettuce, come raisins and one slice of goat cheese. The interiors of this cafe are really pretty but service a big slow.

Needed to remind the waitresses 3 times that we were there waiting to take the order or bring the menu. Some couples that came after us got attended first. We decided to call the attention of the manager and from there everything went well. Food was good.

Stopped after a bike ride to the Bloesempark on a cold rainy day. Great location, friendly service and nice warm food.

Very cozy, comfy place full of locals. We were the only tourists and loved finding a place to rest. Gluten free bread is available if you ask.
