The food was good, but the service was long. the waiter has forgotten our drinks. the dishes were small and very pricy.
Fantastic aromen, very friendly staff that knows clearly what they do. the Azerbaijani white wine is an acquired taste, but this is nothing to do with the restaurant (and of course there are many other drinks.) this restaurant is a small jewel, almost hidden in a residential area. a small piece of japan in Oud-Zuid.
We had a great dinner, the menu is very nice and everything we ate was really good. The prices are a bit high but I think it is normal prices for the netherland. If we have one thing to say is that the service was really slow.
The place has setup its tables to respect the Corona measures and you sit comfortably. However, we had to wait over one hour to get served with 8 pieces of Sushi and a bowl of eel. Quality of the food is really good but everything is pretty much standard. No new tastes, no surprises. And expensive. For the Sushi menu for 35€ we got 6 Sashimi and 8 rolls of Sushi. Not worth the price, unfortunately. Like I said, quality is really good but it’s missing the arguments for dining over 70€ with 2 plates.
