A really nice venue with exposed brickwork and chandeliers. Staff were very attentive and with our selected wine not available we were offered a more expensive one at the same price. Scallops were superbly cooked as was my main of halibut. Fish fresh and well prepared and presented. Lots of fresh herbs. I had the mango dessert which was so fresh and a great mix of textures and tastes. Chef is really first class here.

Fantastic food and impeccable service! We loved everything about this restaurant. I would diner here again and again. I loved the onion soup!!

Mooie ambiance, vriendelijk personeel, mooie kaart, een beetje ouderwets, maar correct. Er lopen ook veel rond, komt van rommelige buurt buiten. Locatie is in het centrum, maar geen heup of nette buurt.

Wow. The food here has been the best I've had while in Europe. I ordered the escargots, and the sea bass with potato puree, pesto, and herbs. The escargots arrived in their shell and coated in a breading. At first I was curious about this choice of preparation but when I pulled out the escargot from the shell with the breading and butter/sage? sauce I was immediately impressed. The escargot was the most tender and juicy I've EVER had in my life and I've had my fair share of escargot. Then my main dish was the fresh fish. It was cooked to perfection. I mean just cooked, juicy, flavorful and the herbs/puree, and pesto complimented the fish as if they have always been meant to be served together. I feel like this restaurant should have all of the Michelin stars! The service was also wonderful. My servers were friendly and super conversational. I enjoyed chatting with them. The restaurant itself is clean, classy, and a nice place to dine with family, or on a date, or even like me a single gal experiencing the city for the first time. My dinner here was a highlight of my trip. I will be back when I return to Amsterdam.
