When we arrived here, the host mentioned that only Americans know what Open Table is. Our vegetable soups were both tepid and the seafood broth was also cold. Luckily, I went there with two native Dutch who were as disappointed as I was with the first course. They fixed it and our main courses were good. The dessert, however, was completely absent, although it strongly suggested that we should not be disappointed. Wrong. Again.

Ik had verwacht dat ik hier zalm zou eten. De serveerster vertelde me dat we die niet hebben omdat we ze nog moeten vangen. De eigenaar gaat morgen jagen in Zweden op verse zalm. Het spijt me dat ik zalm wilde eten, maar ik heb iets anders besteld dat erg lekker was. Verder is alles prima in dat restaurant. Nu ga ik terug voor echte zalm. Ik hoop het. Ik...

Ik dacht dat ik hier waterwolf zou eten. De serveerster zei dat we ze nu niet hebben omdat we ze nog steeds moeten pakken. De baas gaat morgen op zoek naar verse waterwolf. Het spijt me omdat ik waterwolf wilde eten, maar ik heb niets gedaan. Ik heb iets anders besteld. Dat was echt goed. Al het andere is goed in die zaak. En nu ga ik terug voor echte waterwolf.
