Fidalgo Drive-in - Anacortes

As of today ..this place has lost a 20 plus year customer .I give up .every time I came in something has changed. But today..I ordered my favorite up till now fish and chips .and chowder and first off .the chowder was like warm at best and the fish .what did you do !?. You got went cheap and got **** fish ...if that 's even what it is .nothing but over cooked deep fried batter bricks !.. what happened to the good thick flaky fish you had !!. ?? ..keep going cheap to save a buck..and soon like all the others..noone will come..it doesn 't pay the be cheap and serve bad food... I said what I said

The food looked good and Appetizing on the menu but I was extremely disappointed. I asked for just chicken without a bun due to my gluten allergy but was given a bun that made me unable to eat it. After going back in to get my order redone I was given chicken that was undercooked, stringy and unedible. Extremely overpriced and bad food. My friend ordered a regular burger and was only given a patty and bun without anything else. Would not recommend.

Whenever we come to Anacortes I bring the kids to get the sugar basket and drink it still get filled up . Love it

Staff were friendly and helpful even when incredibly busy. Food was fresh and the onion rings were perfectly crispy but not too oily. The blackberry milkshake was delicious! They give you a spoon and a straw with the milkshake which I really appreciated. The dungeoness crab sandwich was delicious, and their tartar sauce is super good.

Staff is great and the surroundings are fun. They were extremely busy on a nice sunny day but that did not diminish their smiles. Burgers had flavor but they came out luke warm. I don't mind waiting a little extra to get food served hot. It's not just this restaurant but seems to be a trend.
