El Gallo Giro - Anaheim

This is my second time comming here and I have been very satisfied, not only with their food but their service as well. I love the aquas frescas. They are soo refreshing. They also give you a free concha or bollio with your order. You can eat inside or outside at this location. I definitely recommend.

I'm a vegetarian. So this place has a couple dishes for my choosing: this is the veggie torta and a veggie taco of course I got it with the works. They even had some tofu veggie substitute instead of just greens which is nice. This was around 11.00. I had no drink. They even had a bread place which was nice. New place clean and the customer service superb. I ate outside which was nice music was loud Hispanic music but I was vibing to my food.. the pictures don't do itjustice. Great spot when you want to try something delicious ????.

Today we when back and had breakfast. The French toast was outstanding better than pollys pie. Fresh orange juice Even do that they don't have on table service the staff is on point Darlene was very helpful. They bring your food fast. Definitely a place to have breakfast more often. Ham and eggs good flavor Pancakes were good. Place was busy and still maintain the cleaning of the tables very quickly.

This place should NOT BE 4 STARS . It should be an easy 2 stars . The burritos are deceiving as heck and cost you an arm and leg . On top of it they DO NOT TASTE LIKE A MEXICAN BURRITO . I'm a hard-core reviewer and foodie I've tried a few places out here in o.c. so far no good burrito places . L.A. county has more actual Mexican tasting and flavorful burritos ???? should've just gone to chiptole . I litterly can pay the same amount and get to big burritos that HAVE FLAVOR.Do yourself a favor and skip this place. The only thing that'll get you full is the drinks. Period . Keep in mind my hands are about average size. Don't come here.

I had high hopes for this restaurant, but the food quality was just not all there. I order a plate of asada and the amount of rice and beans they give you is ridiculous the portions are so small. The tortillas got so cold and hard within minutes and they were very bland. I order a caldo de res and it was more of a caldo full of fatty meat, full of carrots and cabbage and literally one small chunk of carne de res. I paid about $40 for everything only good thing was the Aguade horchata. I basically threw all my food away, my wife didn't want me to make a big deal about it. The food here is all hype and no taste or anything to back it up. Kitchen staff should do food quality control before sending out a ticket.The table behind me was even complaining on how hard the vegetables are, so unfortunate and disappointed.
