Lee's Sandwiches - Anaheim

I wanted to try Lee. We chose a grilled pig slaughter mi and avocado durian smoothie. The older man and the woman worked very attentive and super friendly. We got our order pretty fast. The grilled pork was OK. It could have been better if they hadn't jumped to the protein. They put very little meat on veggie and bread ratio. Now on the smoothie it was very delicious and refreshing. It is made with real fruits and the avocado is a great combination. All in all, we could look back to try some more things.

Watched clean, but little quality. I thought it was better than subway. It's more like hospital caféteria food. The real lemonade was good.

I love Lee's sandwiches, but not this place. On the rude staff my #6 has a taste: Mayonnaise. Um. This is supposed to be bbq pork. Wilty Veg, Bland and disappointment. I will remember avoiding this place as it was completely uncharacteristic for any Lee I had.

I've been going to Lee's sandwiches place for many years, and I've seen the quality of the food and the appearance of the shop. The ingredients taste more and more stale. The furniture is no longer worn out. The chairs look like they were bought 50 years ago and never changed. The owners are nice, but all this environment contributes to customers who appreciate the food less and less. The El Toro Store has the same problem: you've never refreshed the store, it looks like he only suffered a zombie attack.

The moment I got in, I realized there was no AC and lots of flies flying around due to only having the door open for air. It was well over 90 degrees outside and the place was so hot and sticky. The sandwiches itself were small, dry, and the meat tasted old. Not the best at all compared to the other Lee's Sandwiches. It was also hard to interact with the cashier because she didn't know English well. The cashier (an old lady) was also rude, had no manners, and made errors as I was ordering my sandwiches which I had to keep on correcting. I asked for 2 large avocado boba smoothie but received a different flavor (see photo). She did NOT want to correct my order and told me to just take and accept the incorrect order and offered me a discount of $1??????????she finally agreed after I kept insisting on it. I don't understand why she couldn't just correct the smoothies right away instead of making me go back multiple times. The service was also VERY slow. For only 2 other people being there, I had to wait almost 20 minutes just to get the food.  Overall, the worst experience I've had with Lee's Sandwiches. Not returning to this location here again.
