Loves the fresh fish, customizable options including a fantastic variety of sauces and sides. In the evening we visited, chose a small bowl $7.00 with spicy ahi (tuna) and salmon, Sesam shoyu with chee young (Korean) spicy sauce with green and white onions, crushed crabs and avocado sides. Somewhere inside we threw in Furikake for a good action. Rice was perfect, sticky and fluffy. Loved that they offer Coca-Cola in glass bottles, canned oolong and green tea, AND hot Ocha (green tea). They are best open until 21:00! Good luck finding a Poke Bowl in Honolulu after 19:00, which does not cost you and arm and a leg. Yes, we will be here during our stay and recommend PBF for their great kitchen, super friendly staff and great location!! Mahalo PBF!
Great Poke Square! The owner was a sushi cook for 15 years! He can make great combinations with the sauces and let me try some things. The prices are fair, and my girl likes the $7 small. I'll add some pictures. But this is probably the top spot in North Anaheim.
I had many Poke bowls over the years, but that was first experience in one when these build your own bowl type of places. I liked the experience. I got exactly what I wanted, and the fish was very good. The restaurant was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. No complaints
From here on for a Poke bowl with my staff stopped and it has not disappointed! Unlike some of the other Poke places I have tried, I can say that they use quality and fresh fish and ingredients. They mix the sauce with the proteins that give the poke more taste. Absolutely come back! It is located directly at the town hall of Anaheim and has free convenient parking directly opposite the street. Poke Schalenfabrik is one of my new Go to poke stops now!
This place is VERY GOOD. It was my wife's first time having a poke bowl and the guy behind the counter knew what flavors worked and what didn't. He even gave some samples with the different sauces and helped her make a decision. It's nice that they have an experienced chef behind the counter. Will make it a point to stop in when we're in town!
