Rice N' Spice - Anaheim

I recently discovered a restaurant in Sri Lanka that offers a wide variety of delicious vegan options. Their menu consists of a creative selection of dishes made with vegetables such as green beans, beetroot, jackfruit, pumpkin, and even lotus root. I love how they can turn any vegetable into a flavorful curry or sambol, each dish having its own unique taste. I was so impressed with the food that I decided to hire them for my birthday party, and they provided top-notch catering service. My vegan friends were also very impressed with the taste and quality of the food. The restaurant offers 6 to 7 different options daily, with a side of salty rice. They are attentive to vegan dietary preferences and offer a lunch plate with rice and 5 different curries, with the menu changing daily. This means I never have the same meal twice. They also serve Papadam with every lunch plate, and their hopper can be made vegan by ordering it without eggs.

It is quite easy to find a completely vegan meal at this restaurant. The combination plate includes coconut rice, 2 vegan curries with a choice of meat or 3 curries. Unfortunately, the service was not friendly as the staff was eating at a table when we arrived, so we may have interrupted them. The food, apart from the rice, is very spicy.

The food is beautiful, with plenty of great options. The staff is also lovely and the restaurant is clean.

I usually don't eat in non-vegetarian restaurants, but it was in the area and checked it. You have many steam-tray elements you can get combination plates, and 3/4 of the items were vegan! They serve meat, so I give them 4 stars for this reason as this is Happy Cow, but the people there were very nice and friendly, the food was light and tasty, and I would definitely return. Good value, good food.

Delicious Sri lancan food. we tried biriyani, lumprice and funnel. we visited there at the weekend and there was something busy around 1 o'clock. we had to wait about 30 minutes for our food. but it was worth waiting, as eating was really delicious. everything was presented beautifully. the personal is friendly.
