Taqueria El Trompo - Anaheim

Ok, if you're looking for some good $1 tacos, come here on taco tuesdays. Honestly surprised not more people come here. Be advised, they have select tacos for taco tuesdays: asada, pollo, carnitas, chorizo, and conchita (hard shell). Face palm I forgot to take pictures of the actual tacos. I did snap a few pics of their Halloween decorations. It's nice!

This taco spot is easily 5 stars for its food, presentation, value, and service; but the fact that an employee allowed me to bring my dog inside after asking if the other customers were okay with it was the cherry on top. I ordered 4 tacos: Al Pastor $2), Asada $2), Tripas $3), and Cabeza $3). The plate comes nicely assembled with lime, radishes, and cucumbers on the side. There is also some red and green salsa on the table to add. Each taco is stuffed with meat and toppings. It's a great price at $2-3, but on Taco Tuesday, it's only $1 after 4pm! Another amazing option is their Mulitas $3-4), which is only a dollar more than the tacos. This is a great deal as most other places charge way more for the mulitas. It's so delicious with grilled cheese on the corn tortilla sandwiching the meats together. They seriously have so many options on their menu. The meats are so flavorful and everything is delicious and affordable. Aside from the food, the service was wonderful. They checked in on us a few times and were super friendly. This is easily a new favorite Mexican spot!

One of the tastiest menudo I have ever had. It was a friendly atmosphere and they treated me well. The food was hot hot. I recommend it.

This torta Cubana is the best torta that I have ever tasted it is loaded and full of flavor. We also added this with some tacos de cochinita pibil on the side.

Hands down one of my favorite taquerias in Orange County! I've tried all the tacos! My kids favorite are asada. My mom love their carnitas tacos full of flavor! My favorite are the cochinita tacos! Taco Tuesdays are lit! 1 dollar tacos! I really enjoy their tortas and their aguas frescas. The staff is always nice and are patient with my long orders which they always get correct! Their salsas are fire as well as the carrots and cucumbers. The actual taqueria is super cute and nicely decorated. Oh and did I mention you can grab a beer here too? Don't think twice try this place you'll be hooked!
