Rousseau House Lounge - Ancaster

Really enjoyed my dinner at Brewers Blackbird. I had the strip loin and paired it with the West Coast IPA. The steak was grilled to perfection! The vanilla creme breule for dessert was also delicious. My son had the flank steak and my wife had a pizza which they both also enjoyed. Our server, Ashley, was friendly and efficient. We'll be back!

Loved the ambiance and very welcoming staff. The food was good too, with few exceptions. Fish and chips are 25$, yet the greens were “yellow”, not fresh; and fries were super salty.

Surpassed our expectations! The food was wonderful all around; beautiful presentation; made to perfection, with (clearly) very fresh ingredients. We had the fries with truffle aioli, the full belly salad, the smelts and the brussels, and they were all so tasty. We also had a pizza that did not disappoint, thin crust and generous on toppings. The beer was also good quality; fun to try a variety on our first visit; their flight looks as good as it tastes.

Great place! Employees are very nice, accommodating and knowledgeable. Had a beer lesson on the fly from Ken, the brewmaster. Great food options and delicious. Can't wait to bring friends and family back here to try!
