The menu has a very nice sampling of lunch specials. I opted for the Spicy Wide Noodles, which were excellent. The restaurant is immaculate and the decor and music all contribute to the overall atmosphere. All of their art pieces were purchased and shipped over from Thailand. I’m not sure there can be a bad Thai Iced Tea but I really enjoyed their blend, it wasn’t overly sweetened which helped me to enjoy the flavor of the tea. The staff here is phenomenal, so friendly. They are right near the Subway Rink, so plan to go before or after your game. Also, Goodwill has a donation Xpress center right next door so bring items. They’re open between 10:00-7:00 (closed for a half hour at 2:30 for lunch).
I ordered takeout on a Friday night and got two Pad Thais, fresh spring rolls, and Thai tea drinks. Unfortunately, the Pad Thai was among the worst I've ever tasted—very grainy, greasy, and lacking in flavor. There were hardly any pieces of chicken in the serving. The Thai teas were watery and not at all like they used to be. The fresh spring rolls were the only decent part of the meal. Overall, the food felt overpriced and the restaurant is just not what it used to be.
Now onto the food, which was absolutely fantastic! The Thai tea and sticky rice Drunken Noodles were perfect, and you could really taste that the noodles were made in-house. The Tom Kha soup was simply to die for! The fresh fruit drinks were like smoothies, fresh and refreshing without being overly sweet. For dessert, I decided to try the pumpkin custard, a unique choice that didn’t disappoint. It had a strong pumpkin flavor, so I’d recommend it only to those who genuinely enjoy pumpkin. Our waiter was pleasant, polite, and friendly, enhancing the dining experience. The prices were about average compared to similar restaurants. Overall, this is definitely a place I look forward to visiting again!
I've ordered from them via GrubHub about three times now, and I've been really pleased every time. I usually try to stick to a lower-carb diet, and they were very accommodating. They made my fresh rolls without the noodles and added extra lettuce instead, which I really appreciated. I'm not strictly low carb, but I do need to monitor my carb intake, so it was great that they made my rolls fresh and tailored to my request. Additionally, when I asked for no rice with my ginger chicken, they included a generous amount of vegetables to make up for it, which I thought was fantastic. Everything I've ordered has had excellent flavor. I saw someone mention that their meal was too greasy, but I haven’t experienced that with any of my orders.
I ordered the yellow chicken curry, which was listed as having medium spice on the menu. However, I found it to be quite mild in both spice and flavor.
