Hands down, best food in this city (Anchorage)! It’s fine dining, but even more so it’s an experience. With every bite, I found myself in a tranquil sense of aw and amazement. Just unbelievable how the flavors melt in your mouth, and are so mindfully put together to make these dishes. I’ve been twice now, and it does not disappoint. My date and I agree that it’s the best meal we’ve ever had.

I had a fantastic experience in Altura on a Sunday night for a dinner. Being 1 h in the city and first time in Alaska , i am so grateful that I stopped by this place. The whole experience is great from front lady who seated me, to Cary who gave spot on suggestions on food, wine pairing and just a very nice person to talk to! Highlight from the menu for me is prawns bisque-tasted like nothing I’ve tried before! Will definitely come back here!
