There was a little bit of a wait to order, but nothing crazy because we were there during a dinner rush. We stayed for a little less than an hour and enjoyed our time. Will be back again. The atmosphere is really old school with newspaper clippings and pictures all over the entire store with the history of the road runner.
First time here. Ordered a bacon burger. Got the burger with no bacon. The side large fries portion is so small, it was like a handful of fries, don’t plan on sharing fries with anybody. Food was good though. Minus 2 stars for messing up my order and skimping on the fries.
Go where the locals go. This is definitely a local spot. The food was awesome. Had the halibut sandwich. The people are so nice. Not much better than having great food sitting outside by the river. Plus the ducks are happy to greet you and share your food.
A truly unique Anchorage experience. If you want to see some history, the walls are covered with pictures that give you a peek into the lives of the locals over the last 60 years. The food is good, and their menu is simple. If you choose to go to Roadrunner, bring cash. They don't accept any cards, but there is an ATM if you don't bring any with you. I recommend the Kenai Burger with a delicious handmade milkshake :
Such a cool place to come visit. It is CASH ONLY. Their burger are great! The fries are nothing special. However, the shakes are the BOMB!! There is outdoor seating next to Campbell Creek. Tons of seating.
