The food and service at this restaurant were excellent. Despite being told there was a 30-40 minute wait for a table for our group of four on a busy weekend night, we were able to find an open table in the bar area. The Korean Steak bowl was delicious, but unfortunately they were out of Athletic Brewery beers. I would rate this experience 4 out of 5 stars because when I requested 2 desserts to-go, one of them was wrong - we had asked for a chocolate mousse but received a carrot cake instead (which was still good, just not what we had ordered). The staff was very polite and friendly.
The restaurant had a diverse menu with a variety of food options. The waitstaff was friendly and attentive. Unfortunately, it took an extremely long time for our hamburger to arrive, even after the staff checked on it three times. It took over 45 minutes. However, they did give us a $5 discount on the $20 burger. Overall, the experience was okay and the food was good.
Best place in town for movies! The pizza, same as mooses tooth, is so good. My 3 kids and I got 2 small pizzas, mozzarella sticks and a soda for the boy and all was about $60 which is the same as the Regal with popcorn and snack.I would recommend getting there early so you don't have to wait so long for the food while watching the movie. They do bring it to you. We sat in the balcony which was great!
When we lived in Anchorage, we ate at the Theater Pub almost every week. Since moving away, it was on our list of places to go each time we returned for a visit. Today, we were terribly disappointed. They have changed how to order food into a very inconvenient method where we have to sit down to look at the menu, and then get up and stand in line at the host station to order while the host also directs people to go to a table to look at menus. The food came quickly, but our burritos were very oily, and not very good. We ordered some chips as well, and got a small paper bag with about 10 chips for $2.50. I know prices have gone up, but that is not reasonable.
