Flying Dutchman European Pstry

I ordered a white raspberry retirement cake for my husband, and it was a hit! I can't recall ever seeing people go back for seconds on a cake at a party before. It was fantastic!

The German Chocolate cake was dry and primarily composed of buttercream, with only a thin layer of coconut pecan filling between the layers. Overall, the cake did not have the moisture I was expecting.

The Flying Dutchman is my family’s favorite bakery. We really love their variety of tarts, and my personal favorite is the chocolate-covered peanut butter cookies! The staff is incredibly accommodating and friendly. As you look around, you can also learn a bit about Dutch history. I highly recommend it if you're in the mood for delicious treats and want to support an immigrant and LGBTQ+ friendly space!

Our family and friends where very disappointed when at the birthday party the ' ' key-lime ' ' cheese cake that we purchased and presented amongst the group had absolutely no flavor and was ultimately thrown away. I hope the readers of this post take this complaint about the so-called key-lime cheese cake as warning to not waist your money..

This is the bakery of my dreams! It is so happy in there. The less sugar/fat bran muffins are my very favorite but everything I’ve tried is yummy and adorable! Don’t leave without a bag of the chewy granola on the counter, it will not disappoint!
