Hula Hands - Anchorage

I was in town for a business trip and stumbled upon a taste of home. Ironically, this restaurant was less than two miles from my office. The food here is so delicious that I ended up coming for lunch two days in a row. The katsu is incredibly juicy and crispy, and the Kalua pig is spot on. If you're ever in Anchorage and craving a taste of Hawaii, I highly recommend checking out Hula Hands.

My favorite restaurant in Anchorage is fantastic because of the high quality of the food. They serve generous portions at amazing prices. On average, I usually spend about $15 and often leave with leftovers. The service is exceptional, making it one of my top spots in Alaska.

I hardly know where to begin—this was probably the best decision we made during our trip to Alaska. Right from the start, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. With such a wide variety of options, it felt impossible to make a bad choice. We kicked things off with poke and both opted for the regular combos. The chicken, beef, and pork were all fantastic, and the macaroni salad was excellent as well. I highly recommend everyone to stop by and experience this place for themselves!

Was not a big fan of the texture of the huh, but that's me, although it was quite delicious. the Teriyaki cow was perfect, the lily sauce they give was perfect diving. server was super nice and helpful. I'm probably gonna eat again here.

Delicious Hawaiian food. Surprisingly authentic. Great lau lau.
