Jimmy's Sushi - Anchorage

Best Asian food in Anchorage! We came from LA with low expectations for food in Alaska, as our main focus was to enjoy the scenery. We ended up here after landing on Thanksgiving night, and to our surprise, they were open. I made a last-minute reservation and told them we’d arrive in an hour. We ordered several dishes family-style based on recommendations from the staff and other diners. Our favorite was the crunch huh with chili flakes—we loved it so much that we ordered it twice! The mapo tofu was just okay and not worth a recommendation, but everything else was fantastic! The Mala pepper Szechuan pepper was also impressive; it left our lips tingling! They definitely know what they're doing. We also had a private area to enjoy our meal. When we return to Alaska one day, I will definitely come back!

Always a fantastic experience! The fish is fresh, and I'm a big fan of the Pink Lady roll. The ramen dishes are great as well. Her Thai shrimp pillows are some of the best in Alaska! There are plenty of options to choose from. Additionally, their sushi boats are incredible and make for a fantastic conversation starter during home events!

The dining experience is fantastic: 10/10. The ambiance is stunning, making you feel like you're in a different place. The only downside is that the service can be a bit slow at times due to the limited number of waitstaff. Overall, it's a wonderful restaurant!

This place is amazing. in the last four months we have tried to live in anchorage and wish we had gone much earlier. delicious Chinese food. the chicken was so crispy and crispy with tasteful sauce that tasted unique and homemade on a good wise.

On the outside, it appears to be a pretty Americanized Chinese restaurant, but the food here is actually good. Tastes authentic and even though the menu is absolutely enormous, we stuck with a few classic recipes and they tasted great. Would recommend to anyone looking for Chinese food in Anchorage.
