Kavas Pancake House - Anchorage

The experience was wonderful overall, especially the stuffed French toast, which was absolutely delicious. However, the bathroom was quite a disaster. It's an older building that could really use some repairs, so that might have been part of the issue.

We came across this place after finding IHOP closed and craving pancakes for dinner. The interior is a bit dated, but the customer service was excellent. Masks are definitely essential here; while one server wasn't wearing a mask, ours did and maintained a respectful distance. The food, on the other hand, was delicious and fresh!

This restaurant came highly recommended by family and friends, and they were spot on. My husband and I had breakfast here for the first time, and the service was excellent. I definitely recommend this place!

Always great portions along with fast service. the last time our food came a bit cold, but the taste was still amazing.

This place is a fantastic breakfast joint. Everyone enjoyed their food- from the melt to the biscuits and gravy, all the way to the grits. Definitely get the Ono's pancakes. You can't go wrong with peanut butter chips, peanut butter whip and chocolate sauce drizzle over fluffy pancakes. Highly recommend, and the coffee is great quality for the price point. The service was super kind and great. The only downfall was they may have been slightly under staffed so we had to wait a bit to get our bill. Definitely try this place if you've got a little extra time on your hands.
