The food is absolutely delicious! The service is outstanding; they prepare the burgers fresh with all the toppings just as you order them. You can either drive in or walk up to place your order. I will definitely return whenever I'm craving a burger!
This restaurant offers some unique and unusual burger options, all made with fresh, never-frozen meat. If you're adventurous, you'll be rewarded with a fantastic meal. The onion rings are incredibly sweet!
You don't visit this place for the atmosphere. It's not in the best location, and the surroundings can be a bit questionable. However, the owner is really friendly, and on a sunny day, the picnic table is a lovely spot to relax and watch life go by. The delicious aromas of the food being cooked add to the experience. The burgers here are fantastic. The classic Quickie Burger menu features 1/4 lb. patties, while the Specialty Menu offers some exciting burger options, like the Mahalo (with grilled pineapple, onions, teriyaki sauce, and cheddar), the Taco (loaded with cheddar, taco seasoning, lettuce, tomato, and onion), the Spenard (topped with diced bacon, fried onions, cheddar, lettuce, tomato, onion, and burger sauce), the Big Alaska (their version of a “Big Mac” featuring American cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, and burger sauce), the Musher (with grilled mushrooms and Swiss cheese), and Classic Sliders (three sliders with American cheese, fried onions, and pickles). We tried the Great Alaska burger, which was enormous, gooey, and absolutely delicious. The shoestring fries are excellent, and the steak fries are good too; just ask for them to be well-done for an extra crispy texture. It's definitely worth a stop, but don't be in a rush since the owner handles both the orders and the cooking.
You absolutely have to visit this place! They serve the best burgers in town, and the prices are very affordable. The owner is always on-site, personally grilling up fresh patties. Be sure to check out their Facebook page for updates on hours of operation, new burger photos, and weekly specials. I'm a fan of the Spenard Burger or the Double Quickie with onion rings. They also offer indoor seating, featuring a few tables by a cozy fireplace for those chilly months. Give it a try—you won’t be disappointed!
The burgers are absolutely delicious! The cheese was perfectly melty on the patty, and the onion rings were wonderfully crispy. I can't wait to try every burger on the menu!
