As we entered Thai Town, we were a bit hesitant, wondering if we had made the right choice, but our doubts vanished the moment our food arrived. I can't recall the exact name, but we ordered the appetizer listed as number 12 on the menu, and I’ve attached a picture of it—it was incredible and definitely a must-try! For our main courses, I chose the beef Pad Thai, while my wife opted for the red curry. Both dishes were delicious, and we thoroughly enjoyed them. The staff here are friendly and attentive, ensuring you have a pleasant experience. The only reason I give Thai Town a score of 4.5 out of 5 is that the interior could use some updates. They’re open till midnight, so if you’re looking for a late-night dining option, this place is worth considering. The portion sizes are generous too; we ended up taking the leftover red curry home and paired it with some basmati rice for dinner. After that meal, we both agreed that we need to return to this restaurant!
I've visited this restaurant a few times and have had pleasant experiences each time. The staff is always exceptionally friendly, and I've enjoyed every dish I've tried. Recently, I went with a friend and we both ordered pad thai. The food was served promptly and tasted fantastic. The vegetables were fresh, and the tofu was perfectly seasoned and cooked. The only downside is that the place gets quite crowded, especially when there are more than three tables filled. Additionally, my friend ordered pad thai without eggs, but the dish came with them. Fortunately, the issue was resolved quickly. Overall, it's a great spot for tasty, affordable, and quick meals. I would rate it a solid 8/10.
While picking up my order, I noticed a sign promoting a 50% discount on your next order if you show them a positive review you've written on Yelp, Google, or Facebook. This might explain some of the recent five-star ratings. Just for your information, offering incentives for reviews is against Yelp's terms of service. If you want to support a business that feels the need to encourage positive reviews in such a way, then go ahead and visit. However, I prefer not to dine at places that indulge in unethical practices. On top of that, the food is only mediocre at best.
The curries here are absolutely delicious and full of flavor. My only issue lies with the meat used in the curries. Regardless of whether it's pork, chicken, or beef, the meat tends to be thinly sliced and consistently has a dry taste. The soup is fantastic, but the texture and flavor of the meat don't quite compare to what I've experienced at other Thai restaurants.
I visited this restaurant for the first time and ordered the green curry with chicken. It was delicious and came in a generous portion! My husband tried the Pad Thai with pork, which was also very tasty. The dining area is quite small, but it’s a lovely place to sit and unwind. I highly recommend it!
