I live Hawaiian food! hula hands were my favorite until I had the shaka shack’s chicken katsu in the 5th avenue mall (downtown). uuo yum!
Absolutely fantastic! We love the Kahlua pork and chicken katsu. My wife and I visit every couple of weeks or so. We were disappointed when they were closed for a bit, but we were thrilled to find out that they have reopened.
I've never had any issues with this restaurant. The staff is friendly, and for just $15, you receive a generous portion of freshly cooked and delicious food, along with a drink. I always enjoy my meals here and make it a point to visit whenever I can. I highly recommend the teriyaki chicken mixed plate—it's one of my personal favorites!
This was our first visit to the restaurant, and we were looking for a quick snack. We were in the mood for musubi, as it’s a convenient option to grab and go. After our recent trip to Hawaii, we were expecting it to be wrapped in a way that allows for easy eating on the move. Instead, they placed three pieces in a Styrofoam container. When I tried to pick one up, it fell apart right away. The chicken was decent, but we also ordered the spam and egg version, which disintegrated too. The spam was surprisingly thin, and there was an excessive amount of rice, plus the sauce was overly sweet. I’m not sure if I’d want to return there again.
