Yukon Tea - Anchorage

This small tea shop had its ups and downs during my visit. The rock music was playing so loudly that I could barely hear the staff member talking to me. Unfortunately, the paprika in my breakfast burrito was raw. When I requested milk for my tea, I was given cream instead, and I had to ask again, explaining that I prefer milk in my tea. It seemed like perhaps someone wasn’t quite suited for their role in a tea shop. On a Sunday morning around 10:15, there were no other customers present. On the bright side, the tea itself was quite good.

The restaurant offers a vast selection of teas from around the world for guests to sample. My wife claims that her Americano is the best in town, but my personal favorite is her chocolate chip cookie.

The service could use some enhancement.
