Best restaurant so far in Chile! Ostras and Curanto
We stopped the random return of Fort San Miguel. We wanted to eat a typical Chilota dish, and in this restaurant on the road, we enjoyed a Curanto al Hoyo. It contains mussels, clams, pork, chicken, panceta and two native specialities with an indigenous name that I do not remember, one with taste to pasta, and the other remembers the bread. The particularity of poti poti of the dish is that it is cooked underground with wood and coal and covered with branches and leaves...
Good place for lunch, i liked the fish with seafood sauce. They sometimes have curanto, but out of the season only on weekends and if there's enough people. So best to call on the day before 1pm and ask them if they have it on the day.
Nice family run restaurant. Good food and ambiance. We were 3 people and had bisteck a lo pobre with salad.
