But when you feel taken you just feel taken. 1. CONSIDERABLY OVERPRICED. Everything from apps, to wine, to dessert. 2. Customer service was good! Dan C took care of us and my party liked his service. 3. The double cut porkchop . First, it comes as one MASSIVE porkchop chunk. Secondly, cutting in and around the bone of this thing was almost as tough as parting the Red Sea. With the steak knife provided, i was SAWING away with every fiber in my elbow to try to cut into and around this thing while seemingly also shaking the whole restaurant because of my immense strength. Also, even though the menu mentioned it, i didnt quite understand fully what it meant when including sausage . Who the F wants porkchop and sausage on the same dish?!?!?! I probably should have inquired first but the experience was not enjoyable. 4. Im not a hospitality expert but its safe to assume its not professional to hold an interview or wine and dine potential new talent in the main dining room within an earshot of other couples trying to enjoy there meal in peace. The bar a room over did seem cozy and fun though!
I try and go every Sunday for Brunch. Food is delicious and the **** Mary's are fantastic.
We had brunch here today with our three teenagers, and all of us thought that the food, service and whole experience was outstanding. At our request, the hostess kindly squeezed us into a 4-top outdoors, and it was all uphill from there--a nicely varied menu, delicious preparation, and the service was very attentive and kind. We look forward to going back.
Well I went to this restaurant after checking reviews and seeing photos of food that was made and created there and looked amazing I couldn't wait to go I went with my sister my best friend and her fiance table of four please it was horrible we asked the guy what the menu was all about there was nothing a very small limited menu instead of saying well which would have been passable he said oh the stuff that you saw online we used to make here we thought we'd put it up but I don't understand why you would put that up knowing it's going to bring customers in here but people will walk out I don't understand he seemed not too thrilled to talk to us walked away kept asking us if we want to drinks I'm thinking he might have been a bartender but we don't drink we were there to have dinner together and discuss the wedding that my friends are having it was horrible all we did was get an iced tea some water and leave very unpleasant it was completely empty inside and now I know why bad that they would have reviews from years ago after the guy told us his website for the company was updated which if it was updated those pictures should have never been on there they don't make any of that food anymore and that's not cool we went somewhere else and had a great dinner but we please let the record show we wanted to try a local place that we had never been to and make that maybe our once a week regular spot when you put a pictures of stuff you used to do and don't do anymore that is false advertisement and that's just terrible we put up bad reviews and then each of us were called bots well I'm not a bot I'm an influenza and I think it's horrible that as a customer to be told I think you're a bot and how can you actually give us a bad review instead of saying we will take those pictures down change the site and update the site to truth and we're really sorry for your experience coming again will make up for it something there was nothing like that and that's just bad business.... Thumbs down to andolini's restaurant.
Extremely solid option in downtown Andover that I'd choose to go to almost any night of the week. Great ambience, so fit for a date. I've been over 10 times by now and the food is always great and I highly recommend both the sirloin and the tenderloin, which are made at a perfect medium rare (the tenderloin comes with a signature sauce that is so worth a try). The sirloin is pre-cut, served with fries while the tenderloin is served as a classic filet mignon on top of a scoop of mashed potatoes. I'd say the tenderloin tasted like a prime grade steak but no way to absolutely confirm that. It tends to be a little more pricey than other restaurants in the area but its worth it. The only thing that I would never recommend anybody is the Chicken Parm (forgot the official name). It's just a huge chunk of flavorless white meat with poor quality sauce and cheese (quite disappointing, of course, for an Italian restaurant). Otherwise, the service is consistently acceptable but nothing special.
