I started with the minestrone soup, which was fresh and packed with vegetables and pasta. For my main course, I chose the baked haddock, served with rice and broccoli. My father ordered the chicken parmesan, while my brother opted for the frutti di mare. As usual, we were all extremely satisfied and will definitely be back. The service is excellent as well, but I recommend planning ahead, as the wait times can be lengthy (though it’s worth the wait!). The portions are generous, ensuring no one leaves hungry.
Clean inside and out. Booths are very nice. Food was delicious and the servings were huge. Customer service was spot on. My husband and I will be back for sure.
I used to live in Waltham and went to the original Chateau a few times, always delicious ! This Chateau in Andover was not the same ; Chicken Marsala was soupy with little flavor, two small chicken breasts and not very appealing ! The side dish of pasta with red sauce was no better and the sauce was very minimal and seemed like a jar sauce ! Salmon dinner looked dry and not a very big piece . I also got a pizza because I remember them being juicy and delicious ; again, not the same with no flavor ! Hopefully they will step up their game and listen to reviews !
Worst onion rings i ever had, not a speck of salt. The seafood also didn't have any seasoning either, did they run out of seasoning that night? Did they dump all the salt on the road to stop the parking lot from freezing?
I ordered the surf and turf and my wife ordered the lobster, shrimp and scallop diavolo. I want to first say we always try new places that we have not been before. Prices where reasonable especially for the way the economy is going today. The food was sub par. To the point where my heritage is in question. My great grandfather would see the flaws as did I. The cooks cooked my meal to long the fish was ok but overcooked the steak wayyyy overcooked and lacked flavor. My wife's food was underwhelming considering the hype we have been given by others who have been here. I was told it was traditional Italian. I have a very rich Italian history and it is not at all. Where is the fresh bread not store bought sliced bread? Where is the robust flavors. I hate to say this but Olive Garden is a better opportunity and option. They are at least closer but not really authentic the way they claim to be. Call #cheframsey. They need an overhaul and breath life back into this place and the food. The server was the saving grace of our experience and shevdid well because of staffing shortages. Due to our meal being sub par she did give us dessert to bring home. She did her job and might I add maybe over worked. The to go containers..... well cardboard and flimsy is not great in the fridge at home.
