Beautiful place ontop of Blue Mtn. It's unique because it sits on the side of the Appalachian Trail. I came here excited but left very disappointed. Okay now for the review....long wait....make sure you get a reservation and call ahead, I saw people leaving upset at the entrance. 2nd part...I thought this was a place for HIKERS on the Appalachian Trail to visit.....why is it soooooooo expensive and over dressed up! There should have been a place to hang backpacks at least, not sitting outside under the overhanging roof...and gear is expensive!!!? Hershey was cheaper at most places! I ordered a drink, it was 11$ and yet I think the berries I picked on this mountain will do more for me. So I asked for a strong long island.....nope....watered down!! 22$ for drinks that didn't even make me feel relaxed, after hiking over 15miles! I wish i had gone somewhere else! The food was delicious at least ? and the server I had was friendly. Other then that it was a disappointment...you would think it should be catering to Hikers not the filthy rich! 80$ for a meal for 2!!!!! I feel now I need to warn other hikers of this place vs. telling them to check it out ? seriously....I recommend this place make a separate area for hikers (inside), a separate food menu for hikers, and a place to hang gear at when visiting....it's not like I could just leave it in my car...hikers don't have a lot of money to begin with, and they don't like it when a place takes advantage of them either especially after a hard long trip. This works pretty well for pizza Sorento in Hershey FYI! A place for quick food and sodas, and a fancy side..
I thought this place was really great. Situated on top of the Blue Mountain on Route 309 it's right along the Appalachian Trail. The food was really good I had the burger and it was fantastic french fries were fresh cut and perfectly made in the French onion soup was delicious. The service was great and everything was clean and well taken care of .
Not great. The $6 16oz Miller Lite drafts were the highlight, but the food was way too salty. The concept of the restaurant was good for the location, but the prices seemed a bit high for the quality of the food. Overall, our rating for the food is a 1 out of 5.
