The tiny location is off the beaten path in Andrew's NC. You can see the Smoky Mountains from the covered deck and outdoor patio complete with a fire pit for romantic ambiance. The brewery and cellars are housed in a legendary jail house and the bars are still holding strong on some windows and doors. The setting is peaceful and cozy looking over raised beds, and a few rows of grapes. A couple of playful cats roam the area to entertain. About five excellent craft beers are available by the glass or growler. We were lucky to be there when Crystal was working and she showed us their winter room. A cozy place with wood burning stove to keep the customers comfortable during their winter hours. No food service available. Live music makes this a happening place on Friday and Saturday nights. A small parking lot is next to the cellar as well as across the street. The cellar doesn't stay open late, but is a great place to relax and enjoy for a most pleasant stop.
OMG! The view is just stunning from their front porch!!! Great selection of beer and wine, and both are very good! It was absolutely relaxing, and a great place for people to hang out and catch up. They have an area where there is live music also. I will most definitely return on my next trip to Andrews!!! If you're in the area or nearby then you must go! You'll not regret it!!!! Just wanted to add that I drove a little over 2 hours to get here from Brevard NC, and it was worth every mile!!!!
Beautiful spot to come and relax. Picked up some Eclipse IPA growlers for the upcoming eclipse. They have vineyard out back and live music at times.
The owner is incredibly nice and informative. The wines and beers are delicious with a great variety. I would recommend this place to anyone.
I sort of hate reviewing breweries because beer taste is so subjective. If I don't like the beers that doesn't mean you won't love them! Andrews had okay beers for my taste...nothing blew me away. However..their servers were so friendly, the back view is phenomenal. Sitting on an adirondack chair and staring into the vineyard and mountain was like being in a good friends backyard. Loved the feeling there.
