This was a great hands on cooking class in the heart of the Barossa Valley. Hunband wife team run this cute small cafe and offer cooking classes 3 months of the year on a Saturday for small groups. Matteo Carboni brings his home town near Parma Italy to the menu with influences from his grandmother for pasta sauces. Fresh roasted veggies and homemade pasta and gnocchi and cannoli left us full for the entire day.
We would eat here constantly if lived local. Lovely Matteo and Fiona makes you fell like it's their home kitchen and we are this lucky guests. Lovely quiet lunch with style
If you're in Angaston on a Friday night, Casa Carboni is a great place to eat. Excellent home made pasta, tasty asparagus custard (must find out how to make that one) follows by richly delectable tiramisu. Friendly service - so glad we went!
What a simple great tasting menu. Very friendly, family run restaurant with such a great personal atmosphere. Highly recommended if you are close to Angaston. Great European wine selection and a simply relaxing experience. Most definitely return when next holidaying in the Barossa. 10/10.
