I can't believe this place has no more excellent reviews. can no longer recommend!
A burger ordered in height of €17, the meat had no season. fries tasted old, were soggy and brown. my partner ordered the lasagne, it was a small part and tasteless too. we let the waiter know, but he didn't say anything or offered something.
I ate calf in olive sauce with linguini was delicious. I also ordered the French cheese table. it was ok and good experience, but for me as a foreigner it will be very good if waiter is something more and interesting about every one (some...currencies not only names of cheese.)
My friends from Angers had driven me to the train station for my trip to Paris. I wanted to buy them lunch and didn't have specific plans for a restaurant. Le Bistro is RIGHT across the street from the Angers train station and their menu...looked good. Had a great meal authentic French dishes, good wine selection, very friendly waitress, and outside seating to watch the busy street activity. Though not a planned restaurant, it worked out wonderfully for my last meal in Angers!
Surprised to find a good and correct kitchen in a station brewery. we'll go back there to better test and try other dishes. We don't find everywhere glasses of viognier!Another surprise (positive) is that the boss is interested in the opinions of his customers
