6 Autumns Food & Spirits - Angola

Giving this 5* because this place deserves more than the 4 stars it has! This is a solid 4.5. When we got there I was a little put off to see this restaurant was connected to the hotel (rarely have good hotel restaurant experience unless I'm staying at a really nice hotel ‍ . We came late (around 9pm and were welcomed and seated right away. They had live music on a Monday night which was a pleasant surprise. The beer list was awesome and extensive, and the menu was excellent. Between the 3 of us we got the chicken skewers w/pineapple, corned beef egg rolls and the nachos as apps... all amazing. My husband and our friend also got the poblano soup and loved it. For mains I got the burger in a lettuce wrap with PB and bacon jam (weird I know, but good! . Our friend also got a burger, and my husband got the chicken tenders. All solid options. I've eaten a LOT of burgers and this was very decent, but not amazing (Basically, I'd happily eat it again, but it wouldn't be in my top 10 . The Brussels sprout side was really tasty. Sweet potato fries were nothing special. Our waitress was awesome. I wish I'd got her name, but hopefully she reads this very knowledgeable and personable and made the night very enjoyable. Overall we were all very happy with this visit and would come back. Oh and the prices were GREAT!

Food was hot, fresh and tasty. Server was awesome and found the answers for the questions she didn 't know. My fiancé 's dinner, poke wontons, was also good. I 'll order it next time.

The bourbon chicken was dry and thin. The pork tips had too much sauce on them. The Thai chicken salad didn't come with enough dressing.

The kids and I met my dad at six autumns Food and spirits for dinner this evening. As usual the service and food was outstanding. My son and I ordered the cod it was cooked to perfection, and our sides were delicious. My daughter ordered the Poké wontons they were packed with flavor and more and she was able to consume in one meal. For dessert we had chocolate lasagna and cheese cake. Everything exceeded our expectations.

This place is normally pretty damn good, OK the other 2 times we were here. But something was off today! The food was great and I will always love the handmade chicken tenders! But the service was rotten!! I don't even think it was our waitress' fault. Hell, she had to make drinks at the bar, wait her tables, and whatever other extra **** they had her doing! Our appetizers arrived before our drinks!! What the Hell is that? My wife's salad was served with her meal! No one ever came back to check on us or ask if we wanted a second drink? Seriously! One damn beer for the entire time?? Waited for my bill for 20 minutes while still nursing my one beer! Blah, blah, blah... the service was terrible! And we wasn't the only patrons upset. If the food wasn't good this review would have been worse!
