Mccools Tavern - Angola

A big group of us went on a Saturday night. The place was completely dead. However, the food was good. Nothing spectacular, but typical bar food. They had a really good variety of craft beers though!

I really enjoy the food and the draft beer selection. I appreciate that it's a family-owned establishment, but their hours are quite limited, which is the only reason I can't give it a full 5 stars.

I have been here about ten times over the past five years. Food is just okay. Service is not very good. Slow and not too friendly.

Fantastic little place for a quick bite or an evening out. Food is top notch with great care taken in its preparation. Wide selection of craft beer with a sitting area if desired for conversation. Much care has been taken in changing it from a bar to an establishment. Hidden treasure in Angola.

I had an excellent experience at this restaurant! The service was fantastic, and the food was delicious. They also have a wonderful selection of craft beers. The laid-back atmosphere made it even more enjoyable! I truly loved my time there!
