Canoas Ilha Grande - Angra dos Reis

This is my favourite restaurant in Abraao. The food is incredible and staff super friendly. I’ve been twice with my family and can recommend the steak in mushroom sauce who was amazing, the fish in a creamy lemon sauce and the grilled octopus. Absolutely lovely. A stand out meal which made me so happy. And thank you Lorenzo for the glass on amazing Cachaca you gave me. Check out the other reviews, these guys are fantastic. I beg you, try the pineapple shrimp . It was our favourite meal ever. So delicious and beautiful!!

Probably one of the best restaurants in the island. Expect a queue at the door (we queued about 20min). Good and fast service afterwards (we used the 20min wait to check the menu and chose our food so we could order as soon as we sat down). The grilled octopus was excellent.

Excellent! Food was fabulous (we had the octopus and it was cooked perfectly) and drinks were great too! The mains are usually for 2 people, but you can ask for 1 person only and they accommodate that, they adjust the price too. Even at 11pm the restaurant was full, which is a testament to its quality.

This is a 100% recommended dinner. Already our 2nd time in 3 nights. Our favorite is the magical Shrimps with pineapple! Damn! SO GOOD. Must try it. the staff is super friendly with the coolest vibe. 6 stars from us Subhi Chiara
