Tilly's Cafe & Bakery - Angus

Recently decided to give this new restaurant a try, and we were blown away! The food was fantastic - I ordered the chicken Caesar wrap and my husband tried the fish special. The homemade fries were delicious. The service we received was excellent, fast, and entertaining. Our waiter had a great sense of humor and kept the atmosphere lively. The chef even came out to speak with us as we were leaving and was very friendly. He's a talented cook. This will definitely be our new favorite spot by the harbor. The location is great. I am already looking forward to going back.

The homemade bread at Tilly's is absolutely delicious, especially the cheese bread. Whenever I am traveling to or from Parry Sound, I always make sure to stop at Tilly's with my daughter. During my last visit, I tried the triple decker club with fries and gravy, and it was incredibly tasty. The service was excellent, the atmosphere was lively, and my daughter and I enjoyed the view of the planes taking off and landing from the patio. I will definitely be returning to Tilly's as it is the perfect pit stop for some authentic homemade cooking.

Granted it was a very, very busy time the service was very slow and the cook was vocally annoyed by it. Total wait time from sitting to paying was over 1.5 hrs for french toast and 2 sandwiches. The other table's food looked quite good, when ours arrived the french toast was under cooked (and barely egg soaked) void of the menu promised powdered sugar and whip cream. The clubhouse sandwich did not have tomatoes, or the selected side on the plate (had to ask for it), and the Reuben sandwich also arrived without the selected side on the plate (again had to ask for the fries).

Visited for the first time in a March 2017 with many visits since.Open for breakfast and lunch theservice is excellent and exceedingly friendly.Everything I have tried on the menu has lived up to my expectations.In restaurant baked butter tarts, cookies and squares are sooo good!10 out of 10

We went for breakfast with friends, the meal was fabulous!! Homemade rye bread smothered in butter, so good. Atmosphere is fabulous, you can watch planes land and take off. The patio looked great also. Next time we will sit outside for sure and enjoy the view. I would highly recommend Tilly's Café and Bakery. We were too full to buy a "huge" home made cookie, but will next time for sure :)
