Dean was our host and he was great; hospitable, knowledgable and fun. The small tasting room (in a small cave) is very nice and their wines were very good across the board. The Rose was a really nice start and it just went from there. Their reds are very nice. He referred to their Trio as their Tuesday wine, just a nice wine to have on a Tuesday. It would be excellent on any day. You do have to call, so don 't go up expecting to walk in. Yet, its worth the effort.
Fabulous wine, and Dave Mosher, the tasting room manager, is astoundingly knowledgeable about not just Bravante wine, but the wine industry. Well worth the trip up the hill, and a beautiful drive too!
I've been exploring some of the wineries in the Howell Mountain area, and as usual, am on the lookout for private tastings and low key wineries. This place hit the nail on the head. Our host was gracious and was more than happy to talk us through the wines, offer his opinion on the wine, and wine in general, and even pour some of the off-the-menu wines he had available. Another great cab house, a super fun tasting, outstanding wines. The cabs give a lot of dark fruit, and combined with the terroir, are outstanding. I'll go back over and over.
Without use. I left several botanicals without answer. also with email confirmation katy has completely failed our reservations and when we drove into the closed weinberg and wasted our time and our limousine driver time, this place could take care less! easier customer service and impossible to work.
