Ahhhhmazing! I met the owners daughter a few months ago and it reminded me that I wanted to try this place.I had help navigating the menu and how to order. It's like a Mediterranean subway. I had a rice bowl where I had to pick a protein, vegetables and toppings down the line of many options. I was taking it to go so I really appreciated being ASKED if I needed cutlery. I'm anti waste. This will be a frequent stop for lunch. Yum.Vegetarian options: Besides the choice of proteins it's grain and vegetable heaven.

I hate having to leave a bad review but .... this is unacceptable quantity and quality of food for the money we pay. We got 2 chicken shawarma plate and a falafel plate and fries for $63. That's for some lettuce, hummus and half a ladle of protein. I eat at Cava when I'm in other cities, a similar concept where Mediterranean is served chipotle style. It's far more quantity and quality for much less! Just because Mediterranean isn't common in this area doesn't give you the right to price gouge your customers. Really disappointed.

Was looking for a healthy place to eat and found this little gem in Ankeny while out shopping. Lots of options to choose from with a build- your-own concept.It goes pretty fast so I feel like you definitely want to know what you want ahead of time. I ordered a chicken wrap to-go with lettuce, turmeric rice, cucumber salsa, hummus, tzaziki and pickled cabbage with some signature fries on the side. It was fresh and flavorful. Fries were hot! Spent $13 which is not bad considering the Fresh Mediterranean grill in Waukee is more and you don't get as much on your wrap like this place.Overall, really good food, fast (in and out in 5 min), fresh, lots of seating and parking. The place itself is great and so is the parking but the food was not good at all. As someone who's tried the legit version of food they offered on the menu it was nowhere close. Highly don't recommend the signature fries since they were harder than bricks.

Stumbled on Garbonzos by accident and thankful we did. Everything was so good, fresh flavors and the falafel was . Hubs had a traditional gyro and loved it. Organic sodas and juices really top off a great meal. I took baklava cheesecake home to eat later and it was really nice as well. So good I'm trying to convince someone to open one in my town. ?Vegetarian options: Best falafel, authentic flavors.
