Wheel House Pizzeria Pub - Ankeny

The food here is fantastic!! The owner has recently died so that his children run it. They are now back open 7 days a week in the evenings. If you haven't been here, please come out and try and support it This local business! We got the pizzeria and the egg roll pizza last night and they didn't disappoint! Everything on the menu is creative and delicious. The staff is attentive and friendly, the atmosphere is picturesque and comfortable. There is a small outdoor area. There are stories behind so many pieces on the walls and the whole place makes you welcome and like family. If you know Chandler, you knew he was, and that's what this restaurant is!

The pizza is always better than expected! The drinks were cold and fast! The owner took time to chat with us and the bartender Leslie was super friendly and attentive. I definitely recommend this place!

Payton Mason owns the Wheel House. We gave it 5 by far, the best pizza we ever had! It's a must!
