Ann Arbor Comedy Showcase

This place is huge for me, this was the first place I went and saw stand up for the first time inside a comedy club. Went for a date and saw one of my favorite comedians Matt Braunger. Later got to see Geoff Tate and was supposed to see Doug Benson one time. Always was a great time and never had issues with drunks or rowdy crowds really. Has that comedy club feel with the small room and low ceiling. Got to see John Heffron just last weekend and I'll have to admit. Adeline was outstanding, she not only saw I came alone and definitely made sure I was okay and taken care of but she was super friendly, attentive, and Super Funny in her own unique style. With an amazing show from John Heffron and the fellow comedians before. Including the amazing service from the person at the window outside, to the hostess then down to Adeline, my server (Don't lose that one). It was definitely a 5 experience. Hope to stop by again soon.P.S. Adeline definitely was the reason the fifth star was earned in my opinion. My time here has always been amazing but she helped make my last trip there that much more. Open mic night is rough, you see the same comics over and over. So if you want to see the same show every week this is the place for you. I have enjoyed the main show's with headliner's. I go to have a good night and laugh. Not draw on napkins because the comics are so boring.

All the comedians were very funny tonight. The staff was friendly and the drinks were decently priced. What brought this review down is the way they packed us in like cattle in the rows around the stage. If they had used one of the three or four rows of unused tables, I might not have been forced up against the wall like I was. Check out the picture in my review. I really would score them 3.5 stars, if that was an option. But I sure wasn't willing to give them a free extra half a when it's not deserved.

We went and saw Nick Gaza and had an amazing time!! my cheeks hurt from laughing so hard by the end of the night. i would recommend getting the razzamatazz martini, super super good. opening acts were alright but other than that, had a great time

Always have a fun time at the comedy showcase. Some comedians are better than others, but the prices are fair. Bathrooms are clean and parking is nearby. Great for a date night!
