Chela’s Taqueria

This place was absolutely fantastic. If you're looking for authentic food, some amazing salsa, and a great time, my whole family heartily recommends Chela's!

Best authentic Mexican in Ann Arbor. BUT they have been getting orders wrong recently. Got home and guacamole was on Burrito ordered without. Can't eat guacamole so had to throw it away. This is the third time recently where order wasn't right.

Been coming here since before 2020 and always have a great experience. The veggie burrito is unparalleled, I have not found a restaurant that does it better, and it always hits the spot.

While this is one of the better mexican food places in the area, the food is not authentic and not good. My boyfriend and I heard great things, so we ordered out, only for half of our order to be missing and the stuff we got to not be very good. Every bite we just looked at one another and marveled at how little flavor could be in mexican food. I’m from the southwest of the country, so I grew up on really really good hispanic food. My bf did not. Yet we both found the quesadilla and burrito tasteless, dry, and bland. The service wasn’t bad, which only makes the fact that the food isn’t good worse. Elote was the only delicious and authentic thing we ate.

I only had the fish taco but it was really good and the people in it are awesome
