Espresso Royale

Cool little coffee shop off main street. Good prices and good coffee. Somewhat of a big cafe which is nice if you want your own space. Good latte and cheap espresso. Also, lots of available loose teas as well. Good place to stop when you're walking downtown.

There's so much space here we brought in a group of 7 8 for a meeting one time. I also love their coffee options. The baristas are always really friendly and will remember your order if you're a regular.

I like Espresso Royale, but I'm not in love with it. The atmosphere is cozy and pleasant, and the convenience of the location can't be beat. The coffee is decent (better than Starbucks in my opinion) but is easily beat out by some of the independent shops nearby, like Comet Coffee and Lab Café.

Not noteworthy as great coffee, but it satisfies needs for caffeine and they have a good selection of drinks and snacks. They have great specials on a calendar basis, and support local events. It was a regular stop for me while I was working at UM. This large location has cool décor, where they maintained an older style with the exposed brick walls. Keeps quite busy.

This place is cheap and fast and the coffee is pretty alright. the seating is extensive and there are some cozy spots. the decor/general feeling in the back is awesome. it must have started out simple and subdued but then was molded and conditioned by years of proximity to a college campus into every patron's favorite little spot.
