They have a really cute outside seating area and have a little kids play area too. For those 2 sandwiches, 2 kids meal($10), 1 potato salad and 2 non-alcoholic beverages, we paid $80, so not cheap, but the quality of the ingredients is obvious. There was a cute market across the street. Kid-friendliness: Play area outside primarily for toddlers but my 8 yr old still played with her younger sibling. The had a few riding toys, scooter, corn hole and chalk.
Liliana had phenomenal customer service! She made my Zingermans experience great! Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options. Dietary restrictions: Liliana asked if I had any dietary restrictions before I placed my order. Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp outside and inside the building.
The food the first time I went there was outstanding, if about 40% overpriced. The second time the pastrami had way too much pepper, and the rye bread tasted more like multigrain. Everything else about this place couldnt suck worse. Ordering is electronic, nothing about where anything is makes any sense. The drink machines are down the block from the dining area. They have about 20 to 30 hippies standing around doing nothing but driving up the price of sandwiches, yet I still have to order from a kiosk.
Good place to eat good. Maybe expensive for their food.
Claims to be one of the top few delis in the country. I have no doubt this is true; the food was absolutely spectacular. The associated shops are near-miraculous, though the upstairs dining area is a bit rough in comparison.
