Tropical Smoothie Cafe - Ann Arbor

A few months ago, the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the service was prompt. However, during my recent visit, the staff was rude and slow, and I had to struggle to get their attention. As a regular customer, I’ve decided I won’t be returning to this place.

Travel through and didn't want to eat fast. the staff was beautiful and the girls who made smoothies and eating had really good quality.

When I visited the restaurant, there was a strong smell of rotten fruit. Not a single employee was wearing gloves, and they repeatedly switched between handling food and working at the cash register without washing their hands. I noticed that the bananas they use are often black and slimy. I was horrified to see workers adding these black bananas to customers' smoothies. It's difficult to determine if the food is spoiled once it's been blended. Just a heads-up to the manager: while they may save money by using poor-quality ingredients, they are ultimately putting their customers' health at risk for a few extra dollars.

I been to this location several times. Like any other day, I would have gave this place 4 stars, but today one of the workers (front cashier) is very rude for no reason. Needs to be train how to talk and act around customer!! Please quit your job if you don't like people. Only thing I ask was to remove a condiment. Like always have a bless day ma'am ?

My wife and her sister have taken some time off work and brought her here to grab a bite to eat before heading back for another shift. They close at 9:00 PM, which is only 40 minutes away, and they told us they can only make sandwiches, as the lobby is closed. There were no trash bags available to dispose of our wrappers. The staff's attitude was unprofessional and did not enhance our experience. This restaurant is usually a regular spot for us, and I am very disappointed.
