Anna Maria Island is a truly special spot, and Sign of the Mermaid is a gem in itself! My wife mentioned that the owner was incredibly kind to her, which added extra points in my book! I can’t wait to sample more of their menu. Unfortunately, as a side note, Sign of the Mermaid has been closed for the past few years.
We visited Anna Maria Island and were eager to try the Creme Brûlée French toast we had seen online. Unfortunately, when we arrived at the restaurant, we found a sign indicating that it was closed indefinitely for renovations. It would be helpful if they updated this information on Google, so others don’t waste their time attempting to visit while it’s closed.
I had heard wonderful things about this place, but unfortunately, they were closed for renovations. So, we decided to go to Peaches instead.
We are currently on Anna Maria Island and had planned to take our daughter to this restaurant. However, we were confused because Google indicates it opens at 5:30, while the reviews state it’s closed. We drove by and confirmed that it has indeed closed for good. Google, please update this information!
I just visited this restaurant and noticed a sign on the door indicating that it is closed indefinitely. We have always enjoyed their breakfast in the past.
