It reminds me of when I lived in East Berlin right after the Wall came down. We ordered our food, I ordered a buttermilk pancake, but mine tasted of meat (I 'm a vegetarian), so I asked to exchange the dish for a salad. The owner, who was serving us refused, saying if I wanted to send it back to the kitchen I would pay for it and then whatever else I ordered. I can 't remember the last time I sent something back (many years ago), but on the rare occasions it does happen, I 've always been offered something as a substitute without extra charge. I believe this restaurant owner has never heard of the saying, the customer is king and still operates as if it were the DDR. I would avoid this restaurant at all costs.
We sent here 3 times with good food and service each time. There was a special menu with wild boar. Wine list was limited.
Unfortunately, as in Eastern times, one is placed and has to wait until the Oberkellnerin comes and previews in a book if reserved, although the restaurant is occupied to a quarter. It is sad as the guests are served although they bring the money, but you like to forget that, I just say, very system trust. For us it was the last time. Unfortunately.
A super experience. in the advent period, or at best you sit in a little sober next-space or you don't get in. eating is excellent. the service as well.
We've been to the ratskeller a few times. always a highlight when visiting annaberg buchholz. it was as always delicious and plentiful. a small drop of worries the menu is probably due to Christmas time something changed and there is the famous no-off in different facets. Many thanks for delicious speis and drank.
