This is my favorite Korean restaurant in Annandale, and quite possibly in the entire DC, Maryland, and Virginia area. The restaurant is small and charming, with Korean music playing in the background and a TV screen. While there aren't many seats, there are enough to be comfortable. They serve traditional side dishes (banchan) and offer a variety of drinks, usually tea. Before your main dish arrives, you will be served a small soup (kogiguk). My go-to dish is the Dolsot Bibimbap (Korean Stone Pot Rice Bowl) with a traditional spicy sauce on top of a mix of rice, vegetables, egg, and meat. The fried mandu (dumplings) are delicious and you'll likely want to eat more than you should. And of course, you can't talk about Korean cuisine without mentioning their famous kimchi - spicy, tangy, and delicious. Do I recommend this place? Absolutely. Do you want to go? Yes and no. I prefer not to have to wait for seating, so it's best to go when it's not too crowded.
The food was fantastic and the service was even better! The waitress took the time to explain what each dish was. In addition to regular water, they also served cold tea which was great in 100-degree weather. We ordered the spiced pork and beef and will definitely be returning soon!
I love food and service. We had fried dumplings for appetizers. I had the spicy pig and the kids had Galbisuppe. They are a bit expensive compared to similar restaurants. Overall good experience and will return.
This is a wonderful place, the service is great and food is exceptional!! So tasty and plentiful, we went for lunch special, we had beef soup and bbq, I couldn’t believe the amount of steak we got for the price we paid, and the soup is the best I’ve ever had compare to many other Korean restaurants in dmv area. I will be back!!!
