Revolver Cafe - Annandale

Recently I have been to Revolver for breakfast during the week a few times. It is always busy and is worthwhile considering booking a table even during the week. The service is fantastic, the staff are attentive and knowledgeable and know how what they are doing. The servings are on the larger size, there is plenty of variety and innovative choices and everything we have ordered has been fresh and nicely presented. I can't wait to return and try the smoked trout.

This was our second visit to Revolver and it didn't disappoint. We arrived at 8:30am on a Sunday morning. It was packed! This place is popular. It was worth the 15 minute wait for a table. They have outside tables with heaters (&blankets supplied) and inside it was warm & cosy. Child friendly with high chairs available. My husband ordered the big breakfast. It was delicious - also rather large and he couldn't finish it. I ordered trout with corn fritters. Also yummy with quality ingredients. We ordered a side of toast which was huge. Really good quality bread too. This place is amazing value as serving sizes are very generous. The menu is extensive and everything coming out of the kitchen looked fresh & delicious. My husband said his coffee was one of the best he has ever drunk. My tea was perfect too. Often I find tea at cafes overbrewed but this pot had the right amount of tea leaves & even came with a small egg timer to tell you when to pour! It arrived with lovely, fine, old fashioned crockery. Wait staff were friendly and efficient. Whoever is running this place has thought of everything - down to the smallest detail. We go to lots of cafes in Sydney for breakfast - Revolver has to be up there with one of the best. Highly recommended!

Ordered the bacon and egg roll and a white tea to take away. The roll was dripping in fat and sauce and the tea didn't have milk in it, which I didn't notice until I had left.

This is a great neighborhood place. Friendly staff and really good food. Family friendly and a cute place to have coffee and fabulous baked goods.
