The best Japchae in the DMV! Their kimchi tastes auntie made too! Only con is the serving size for $15, you would expect to at least get twice the current serving.
Very clean, very good service, but I don’t like what I ordered. Will like to try something different next time.
Love that this place is open 24/7. Get place to get some comfort Korean food. Dishes were affordable and huge portions! There was some banchan (kimchi, radish, pickles). The seafood pancake was unsurprisingly delicious (about 8 slices). The Galbi Tang was quite salty especially the meat. I couldn't really eat the meat since it was SO salty and chewy. I did enjoy the glass noodles a lot, and it also came with rice. The Dakdori Tang was pretty good though! Very flavorful, but the pieces were very hot and big so hard to eat.
I visited this restaurant with my husband about two weeks ago. We were seated immediately, and the service was acceptable. However, things took a turn when a large cockroach flew around the restaurant while our food was being served. Many other customers appeared just as shocked as we were. My husband ultimately took it upon himself to kill the bug, as the staff seemed too startled to react. Unfortunately, our appetite was gone after witnessing that incident. My husband ordered gamja stew (gamjatang), and I had sun dae gukbap.
