While they do have other entrees on the menu which are not bad, the pizza is the highlight of the meal here. Baked fresh in a super hot oven, the pizzas come out hot and crisp with a generous amount of flavorful toppings. My favorite and most recommended is the Spicy Sicilian. It has a bit of heat, but the ingredients are top notch compared to the traditional pepperoni and sausage on American-style pizzas. Some of their other gourmet pizzas are good as well, such as the BBQ Chicken pizza which is almost a signature dish for them. And not only are the pizzas good here in the restaurant, but you can get take-and-bake versions which cook up just as crisp and tasty at home if you follow the directions. Join the rewards program to get a good deal on them with purchase of an entree in-store... better than leftovers the next day or so! This location has had top-notch service. Very friendly and helpful, even finding us the best combination of rewards and deals so we get the most for our money on every visit. Food is always served quickly, fresh and hot. The atmosphere is nice and cozy, even being open to the mall. An open kitchen allows you to watch what is going on. Highly recommend giving them a try for an experience that shouldn't disappoint or leave you hungry. Local-quality pizza from a national brand. Delicious!
Saturday night, we stopped by our old standard, California Pizza Kitchen, Annapolis Mall, MD. No more arugula salad but the new one was a decent replacement. Margarita pizza is still good! The server, while pleasant, seemed like she was not really interested in us. Plus, the sliding windows between the restaurant and mall walk-thru entrance were open. It made it chilly and bugs were flying around.
Good service to a party of 7 Saturday mid day meal. Soup was enjoyed by half of us, and Cauliflower pizza was good. It was a little burnt. Waiter tried hard to impress. Food came reasonably fast.
Our waiter D was a joy. The food was delicious and since it was close to mall close we were one of a very few patrons. Spectacular visit.
In Westfield Mall (Annapolis). Easy access from Jennifer Road with plenty of parking. Stopped in after the bar across from them had unexpectantly closed. The restaurant was clean with plenty of tables, however, we sat at the bar. The bartender was ‘D’. Polite, friendly and attentive. They only had a few beers on tap but it must have been our lucky day because 2 of them were favorites (Troegs Perpetual and Dogfish 60 IPA). As a snack, we did get the Smashed Avocado Focaccia. Very nice and flavorful. There are two televisions in the bar area (one needed to be replaced, horrible screen). They did offer a military discount of 10%. Overall, nice experience.
