This restaurant has undergone significant improvements over the years. It started out as average but has steadily gotten better each year. Tonight, I tried the house yaki udon noodles and shrimp toast. Starting with the shrimp toast, it was truly one of the best dishes I have ever tasted. The portion was large with thick pieces, a crispy and slightly oily exterior, and a soft custard-like interior. The combination of shrimp and custard may sound odd, but it was truly amazing. The udon noodles were also delicious with a perfect chewy consistency, plenty of shrimp, pork, and vegetables, and a soy sauce-based sauce that was so good I could have drank it with a straw. And make sure not to miss out on the donuts, they are fantastic! Lightly coated in sugar and just the right amount of oil to keep the sugar on the outside.
