Mcgarvey's - Annapolis

Two of us visited for a late lunch on June 5. The food was excellent and reasonably priced. Unfortunately, I can’t say the same about the service. We had a young server who seemed more interested in chatting with her friends than attending to us. I found myself wondering, “Where’s the check? I just want to leave!” Additionally, we were charged for alcoholic drinks when we had ordered non-alcoholic ones, so be sure to review the bill before paying. I would have rated this place higher if the service had been better.

My friend ordered shrimp and grits, and we also enjoyed chips and guacamole. The place has a really charming vibe, which I absolutely loved!"

We visited for lunch based on the reviews, and it certainly lived up to our expectations. The venue is lovely, and the atmosphere is inviting. Our server, Davin A., was exceptionally kind and attentive. The food was delicious and served in generous portions. I highly recommend it!

We loved this restaurant so much that we visited twice. On Friday night, we sat at the front bar, which had a lively crowd and a fantastic atmosphere. I highly recommend trying the Aviator draft beer. The Reuben sandwich was tasty, and the oysters along with everything else we ordered were all great. On Sunday, we returned and sat at the back bar. The fish and chips were possibly the best I've ever had, made with a special batter using the Aviator beer – absolutely delicious! The bartenders were friendly and added to the overall enjoyable experience.

This is the best Reuben I've ever had! I definitely consider myself a fan of Reubens; if it's on the menu, that's what I'm ordering. Today was no exception, and I'm extremely pleased with my choice. The sandwich was absolutely perfect. The corned beef was incredibly tender and juicy, and the bread held everything together flawlessly.
